Snow and Rain in the Forcast

Yes thats right "snow" and it sure feels like it could. So again we are reminded we live in Saskatchewan, camping weather last week and now bring on the "woolies" . Of course there is a chance the forcast may be wrong, but whatever comes we almost have the assurance that Autumn with more summer weather will be forth coming.
We enjoyed having Beckie bring Chloe over for a visit yesterday, we had lunch and some bonding time.
Of course in the news was a reminder that the day was 9 11 and so our minds went back in time to six years ago when we drove down North Washington St in Washington DC nearing the Capital Building in anticipation of a wonderful sight seeingday only to encounter the caos of what the morning had brought to that area as well as New York City. The end result of our visit was to be ordered by officials to make our way to the nearest exit and out of the city as quickly as possible. So although we can say we have been in Washington DC, we never set foot out side the car. It was an experience that won't soon be forgotten.

Camping Season Officially Ends

This morning was the end of camping season for many including "The Youngs" as you can see Cal is taking down the lights, not at a fast pace as it was so nice that we were not hurrying at leaving, although according to camp rules we needed to
be gone by noon.
Gordon and Mildred also came and enjoyed a few days at Buffalo Pound, so we again had a visit which included some rook time as well. I will admit that we girls didn't do very well
You will also notice in this picture of the tree with the red band around the trunk that has been
tagged along with many other elm trees that will be cut down this fall.

When you see the fall colours appearing on the trees that seems to be a sure sign of fall fast approaching.
This is such a pretty view

This is another picture of the changing leaves,
both were taken on the drive up towards the gate.
So this leaves behind our summer season of camping with its memories, and now we look forward to the next season.
We are not really noted for being "Big Foot Ball Fans" I guess we're the sorta "from a distance" fan, however we just have to admit that of recent games we have been much more into it along with others.

With the Rough Riders doing so well it seems that Rider Green and the Rider Logos are popping up every where even to this hard top camper which I am sure has been transformed from it's original state to show the Rider Pride. So you can be sure the owner has to be a proud fan after yesterday's game.
