We are in a "Deep Freeze"

I liked Beckie's title on her blog today of "Brrrrr". as by the Weather Network and of various comments by those who braved the elements it was really the kind of a day that we were glad that we could stay in.
My day was a normal Thursday as that begins with "laundry" seeing that is my scheduled time.
While I was making my way back and forth to the laundry room, I began to sense the smell of "Chili" cooking, to my pleasant surprise I soon found out that aroma was coming from our kitchen. Sure enough my better half was in the cooking mood, so now we have something on hand to pull from the freezer in a hurry.
Lew, as we read your blog today, we both thought your tribute to Tib was very nice, and again our thoughts, like the thoughts of her family reflected back to her, and of the changing scenes of life, even in death. So I'll sign off for tonight with this. (IY)
