AN EVERYDAY SURVIVAL KIT

This past week we have endured some severe cold weather, and the media has often been reminding their listeners to plan ahead, and carry a Survival Kit .Of course this is only for seasonal use, but here is a Survival Kit" for daily use, and it contains these items.
A Toothpick - to remind you to pick out the good qualities in others, Matt 7:1
A Rubberband - to remind you to be flexible, things might not always go the way you want, but it will work out...Rom 8:28
A Band Aid - to remind you to heal hurt feelings yours or someone elses... Col 3:12-14
A Pencil - to remind you to list your blessings everyday....Eph 1:3
An Eraser - to remind you that everyone makes mistakes, and its okay...Gen 50:15-21
Some Chewing Gum - to remind you to stick with it and you can accomplish anything....Phil 4:13
A Mint - to remind you that you are worth a mint to your heavenly father....John 3:16-17
A Candy Kiss - to remind you that everyone needs a kiss or a hug everyday ...1 John 4:7
A Cup of Hot Chocolate - to remind you to relax daily and go over the list of Gods Blessings....1 Thess 5:18

Good survival kit. One of my colleagues used that as her speech to the graduates last year at Peacock.

Hi, y'all! I had used almost that same thing in the opening staff meeting at school one year -- only my copy had a tea bag instead of hot chocolate. I made up zip lock baggies for each person, and put labels on each item, including the scripture references! Was worthwhile, I think!
