Thankful for My Computer !!!

Another week has gone by, and if you are like me you wonder where it went.
We, here in our cozy nest are so comfortable, that "Time" never seems long,
in fact we never seem to have enough time to do it all, but that could be a result
of not being organized, so we’ll leave it at that.
Seeing it was another frigid day, it seemed a good day to go into the "family
history" that is recorded on the computer as well as book form, and spend some
time looking back on the generations before us and reflecting on the heritage we
have been left.
As I sorted through the information that I have been fortunate to gather by way
of Internet, and of being able to record it all on the computer, I count it a blessing.
Sometimes I have to stop and think what life was like before the computer,
I know it has brought us family through genealogy searching that we would not have
had, and also the opportunity to keep in touch with family and friends by way of e-mail
almost instantly.
So because my computer holds some very important information and is part of my life
I will insert this prayer-

Dear Lord,
Every single evening as I'm lying here in bed,

This tiny little Prayer keeps running through my head:
God bless all my family wherever they may be,
Keep them warm and safe from harm for they're so close to me.
And God, there is one more thing I wish that you could do;
Hope you don't mind me asking, please bless my computer too.
Now I know that it's unusual to Bless a motherboard,
But listen just a second while I explain it to you, Lord.
You see, that little metal box holds more than odds and ends.
Inside those small compartments rests my ancestors and my friends.
I know so much about them and the kindness they did give,
And this little scrap of metal takes me in to where they live.
By faith is how I know them much the same as you,
We share in what life brings us and from that our friendships grew.
Please take an extra minute from your duties up above,
To bless those in my address book that's filled with so much love.
Wherever else this prayer may reach to each relative and friend,
Bless each e-mail in-box, and each person who hits "send".
Amen

Better words could not be penned when we think of you folks and the enjoyment you get from your "Dell". TO have things at ones finger tips is almost unbelieveable, but is interesting to be a part of the technology we enjoy.
